Yes thats right a new points season starts this Saturday the Jan 30th. and runs thru May 22 with 1 throw out. We will be using Checkered Flag Raceway Rules. link to the rules,
http://www.checkeredflagrcraceway.com/rules.html
The only exceptions is in Trucks body's at skips you can run a EDM body no side dams. No Latemodel bodys on SC Trucks.
Racing will start at 6:00pm with signups closing at 5:30pm if your going to be late (late= after 5:30pm) you will need to call Skip before 5:30pm at ph# 816-935-0760 Any signups after 5:30pm mite result in missing your first round of racing. Please be respectful to other on and off the track and we will have a good time. Thank you and we will see you at the Track

If you race rc cars you need to read this!!
CORNER MARSHALING
1: Racers are required to corner marshal after every race they are scheduled to be in. If you fail to marshal on time (on time = right after your race turn your radio and car off, return your tranponder and report to the track )we
will remove 1 lap from your best qualifying time. If you fail to marshal a main you will have 1 lap removed from the main
you just ran in.
2: If for some reason you are unable to marshal, it will be your responsibility to get a replacement. If you are registered in
more than 1 class or have to run back to back it is still the responsibility of the racer to get a replacement marshal.
Replacement marshals must be another registered racer.
3: When marshaling a vehicle that has crashed, place it on the track where it left the racing surface, pointing in the right
direction. Marshal’s need to remember their job is to marshal and not work on broken cars.
4: A corner marshal is not required to assist a vehicle until the driver stops revving the motor.
5: If you are a pit person, you must go around the outside of the track to get the car from the marshal. DO NOT RUN
ACROSS THE TRACK.
6: No open toed shoes may be worn by turn marshals.
7: Watch your corner not the race.

BLACK FLAGS
1: A black flag may be used at any time for a racers unsportsmanlike conduct undue bashing, crashing, recking, and or abusive language to others.
2: A black flag means that the racer being black-flagged is finished. He or she will not be allowed to run for the
remainder of that race. IF he or she doesn't comply they will not be allowed to run the rest of the day or event and will not be entitled to a refund of race fees. To this date we have never had to enforce a black flag against any racer and hope it continues that way.
3: If you experience a problem report it to Skip or me
are thanks to Tim and Checkered Flag Raceway

At the drivers meeting Saturday it was announced that the SC Trucks were to be divided into Stock and Mod.I was just double checking to make sure that this is correct. If I misunderstood what Bill said then this is my fault.
I applaud keeping the Rules in line with CFR. This makes it much easier for Racers like myself, my son Ivy,and Dave K. to be Legal at both tracks as our racing budgets are very limited.Once again I would like to thank Bill, Jim,Tim and everyone else involved for all of the time, effort and expense that they have put into these facilities so that we can have a place to race and most of all have Fun.

i will have to ask where a 13.5 powered corr truck race in what class
Platte County
01-28-2010, 01:12 PM
The classes are separate as
Box stock OR 17.5 brushless
All others are Mod,
Everone runs a Corr style tire that came as RTR on one of the trucks. and everyone runs Corr Truck bodies
Thanks Bill:Chevy_ani

i think when the made the rules the 4 wheel drive trucks where not out yet guess they would have to make a class for the 4 wheel drive trucks using the same sc rules

If you take the front dog bones out, and have no driven power going to the front wheels you can run with the SC trucks. other then that we don't have a 4WD SC truck class. we have two many class's already to be adding any more. Thanks.

Oh boy was last night fun! I had a blast in the mini main and the modified main. And alot of laughs and good racing.
Bigdave17jr

The mini main was pretty competitive. JD finished first again even with a little added protection from a little bit of banging on track. He just kept slippin through traffic after pulling out to a early lead and I though I was gonna run him down but he was just to hard to beat! It was a fun time.
