The crowd was pretty thin last Tuesday at Skip's just wondering who was coming?
If you want to come and race and not play dodge ball with cars bouning off one pipe and then another, Tuesday is the night. Usually a small group 4 or 5 cars in a class, just about everyone has the experience to race and be competetive.
Start's at 6:30 I think and is over by 10:30, two qualifiers and a main.
It's the night for fast running and track records. You can really race with other cars and drivers. No hot heads, most people will wait for you if you get spune out. Just having fun and racing R. C. Much more relaxed and friendly.

Don't get me wrong their is still plenty of competition. Feature time get's real serious, everyone running for the win. With the low car count you know everyone is in the A-Main.
The main thing is Skip needs the business. We have waited a long time for a indoor dirt oval in the Kansas City area. It is time to think about whether or not you and I want to keep it going.
You can not beat the price any where. Give it some thought, and come on out and have some fun racing R.C., Skip aims to please. Mike K.

I might be there tomorrow but not sure. got a sore back and my EDM is taken apart. Yea the car count on tuesdays has been low for a long time. I dont know if people just dont wanna go tuesdays but it has more close racing than saturdays. I think something should be put in place to encourage a turnout.

I'll be there with Slash and Late Model.

I missed the points series discussion on Saturday, but one way to improve attendance on Tuesday is to include it in the points series. Maybe that is already being done.

Yea it was supposed to be a points series tuesdays and saturdays the last time it was ran but bill called it off because not enough people showed up on a tuesday and the attendence never picked up. If the track is really needing attendence because of financial issues then I would like to hear it from Bill so we all would know what the future of the track is. I will continue to try to be there almost every tuesday which I have been trying to do but it would be good if something was put in place to insure a good turnout. But I cant make it tonight due to a very sore back. I hope to return saturday.

I usually make it out on Tuesdays with the occasional Saturday thrown in when the wife is in a good mood or if she can tell that I'm stressed out because of racing withdrawal. :clinkmugs

I like Tuesdays because I get plenty of track time to focus on improving car control and line management. Of course, I like Saturdays too because there is more of a chance to learn to deal with lap traffic. I also like it that the track is different from Saturday to Tuesday because it hones my skills of dialing the car in. I just wish I could go both days every week.

I am afraid that attendance will be an issue when the weather warms up. I know I'm dying to try running at Checkered Flag and Llama's if I get the chance, but I'll try to make it out to Skips when I can. It helps that it's so close to my house and there is always the rained out days.

I'm usually there between 5:00 and 5:30. I'll have my Corr truck out there with my new setup that I've been dying to try out. :devious:

I've been busier than a one-armed paper hanger in a windstorm today and just when I thought I was going to go bonkers and lose my mind, I remembered that I'll be on the track in less than 2 hours. Woohoo!
