Before you go to the next race you might want to call ahead since today the race director was too tired to set the track up at the Branson Meadows Hobbytown and left people standing around in the parking lot.

I agree with Mark. Always call ahead.

Mark,
I canceled racing by 11:00 a.m. There were no people, and a couple of calls. We normally don't start until 1:00 p.m. You can verify this with the Owners.
As i posted before, I do agree with you only in one regard: Always call first.
Just so you understand, we only run down there twice a month. That's it. We have already meet our obligation for the month of September. If there were more racers and more demand for racing, that would change. I always post on three different forums when we are running in the Meadows. We haven't seen the demand, so thing will stay the way they are.
There will be two race dates in October 4, and October 18. After those dates we will no longer offer racing in the Branson Meadows Mall.
I'm glad you want to support the hobby. However I've never seen you here this summer or fall in Branson during the weeks I've been down here. So please don't throw stones if you live in glass house.
If you are serious about your commitment to support local parking lot racing in Branson, I will come down next Sunday and lay out a road course and we'll race.
I have desire and I have dedication; Do you?
Chris Hall

The last race! Hobbytown USA Branson, Mo.
Hello All,
I'd like to personally thank each and everyone of you who has come out and participated in Hobbytown USA's Branson Parking Lot Racing Program since the spring of 2009. It has been a pleasure and great experience meeting each new driver and new enthusiast in this great hobby of RC racing that we all enjoy.
Thanks to owners of HTU for giving us at SRL the venue to setup the program and being as supportive as possible in stocking more racing models and proper parts support and technical assistance.
October 18, 2009 will be the last time we run in the Branson Meadows Mall. Hopefully, as many of you can attend, and participate. As we all know budgets are tight, and to allow for maximum participation, we will reduce race fees, to $10 dollars an entry for this occasion. The award plates that will be handed out are very nice too.
