Over the past year Chris K has taken some of the most detailed and exciting shots you'll likely see in R/C Racing. Here are a few peices of his work Here (http://www.heartlandrc.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=507)

Yup - that's the last evolution of my Revo! I ran it for that picture taking session and then it went to Wichita via Ebay.....
Yup Justin, I believe that you were the "designated driver" that day!
There are days when I kinda' miss it! :)

I absolutely love some of the pictures that Chris K. takes. I don't know how he manages to be in the right place at the right time for some of those action shots. But this year, I have on complaint. What is with the "R/C Pictures by Chris K." plastered across the pictures????? Is this a copyright thing....?
Is there any way to get the pics without the wording? It kind of bums me out to see this on the pics, because Chris K. is my only means of action shots of my cars.:confused2

Most photographers that post pics on the internet are doing that now...I think they do it so no one can pirate them for themselves!!

The Meyhem truggy does need to be stretched out a bit...why would they make it so darn short out of the box?
That's one cool pic of the chunks...that Revo looks hooked up!

drive one.... lol those things have a turning radius and corner cutting ability like the revo, with the power of a full size truck. I drove Chris K's and was quite impressed!

i think it would help if they made the mayhem a little longer, so it would handle better over bumps and fly over jumps with a little better control, but not to long, so it dont hurt cornering, i tryed one once they do turn on a dime.

im anxious to see how Chris's handles after the chassis upgrade. Like you say, just long enough to give it some stability yet not hurt cornering. Also cut down on the wheelies cause dang that thing gets with it! lol

The reason that the Mayhem ST was initallly released "short" is because thay already HAD a chassis, braces, dog bones and all that stuff for the Mayyhem buggy - it was simply a quicker way to get into the market.... Now that they've seen that there IS a market, they plan to bring out a "race" version that is longer - BUT, I wouldn't look to see it much before July!
I really like Shorty - it's a good handling truggy and turns in super - BUT, the down side is that when it really gets up to speed on the straight, it wants to swap ends - and I've never been able to totally eliminate that tendency....
BUT, he is what he is and we'll run him 'til I decide that something else is worth the work to set up and learn! :)
Regarding the Mayhem buggy, I believe that it's pretty much the same wheelbase as just about all of them....

Chris,
Would you be up to tuning my MST. Not the motor and I believe I have the suspension set up. What I really need now is the Toe and Camber set and replace the diff's fluids with something more practical for racing unless the stock fluids are fine. I just don't know a thing about diff fluids. I have just recently heard that it makes a difference somehow.
I'm going to get a wheel set with street tires. I won't get the offset wheels so I can put my CrimeFighters on the new wheels and I'll put the street tires for Oval on the offset wheels I have. I gotta make use of those wheels for something and still get what I want for the MST.

Well you won last time so I assume the Unlimited Motto for the next race will be "GET SHORTY"
